Spring all the year round
Known here in Germany as "May turnips", their
availability used to be limited to the merry month
of May – and as such, they are very popular in
season. Thanks to modern cultivation methods,
though, we can now provide them almost
through the entire season. With a minimum
use of pesticides, as they grow under protective
cultivation netting which is practically
impermeable for pests.
